Lee Media Associates Launches On-line Public Relations Media Centre
Online collaboration for public relations planning, writing and issuing news releases and photographs and recording voice clips in virtual media center.
Toronto, Canada - Lee Media Associates, a public relations and media production services business based in the the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada, has implemented its virtual media production centre, allowing global clients to collaborate online in planning strategy as well as developing and publishing print and audio content.

The system also includes photograph distribution and allows for the delivery of communication training online.

"With our online project management, editorial and sound recording systems, we can develop detailed communication plans, write and distribute news releases, as well as record sound clips working with clients anywhere in the world - as long as they have an internet connection," said Lee Media Associates founder and managing partner, Mark Lee.

"We are not a virtual business, but a business using virtual tools to bring media services to customers wherever they may be located in the world," he added.

The communication strategies and plans, the news releases and the audio content, while developed online, are for targeting traditional print, radio and television media as well as online news sites.

The benefits of the system are shared by customers regardless of their state of internet connectivity; so that existing clients or those coming to Lee Media Associates through its Web site, enjoy the same reach allowed by the innovation of the virtual media production centre.

"Rather than reinventing the wheel, we're emphasizing innovativeness that is allowed by the convergence inherent in the new media and the internet," said Lee. "The traditional hallmarks - of urgency, immediacy, the flow channels - are enhanced by the continuous interaction native to the internet."

The system is built on PHP and Java and runs on a MySQL database, all open technologies that are compatible with modern Web browsers.

Lee Media Associates was founded in 2002 to provide communication planning, editorial, production and training services to corporate clients.
